In June, Keith Weldon Medley was a presenter at
Southern University in New Orleans' Congo Square Symposium speaking on
the topic "Congo
Square at the Dawn of Freedom".

----------------------------------------- In May, Keith Weldon Medley appeared on NBC Enterprises syndicated documentary series "The Remarkable Journey" in a presentation entitled "A Change Is Gonna Come: Brown vs. Board of Education." -----------------------------------------
On May 17, Mr. Medley was the keynote
speaker at an event at Ashe Cultural Center that honored 3 of the 4 New
Orleans women who were the first to integrate public elementary schools
in the Deep South.
In May 2004, his article on the Tuskegee
Airmen entitled "On
Clipped Wings" appeared in the Points of Interest department of
Smithsonian magazine.

the University of North Carolina at Wilmington entitled "Before
Brown, There was Plessy".
